  Hello, my name is Sara, I come from a long line of Democrats.  I am the first one in my family to be a Republican.  I have really no friends that are the same way I am.  I am looking for some people in the world to mentor me and help counteract what my family drills into me.  I am in Janesville Wisconsin.   Hi Sara! I was a Democrat, but when I took a realistic view of what the Democratic Party was turning into... I changed into Independent. It is very easy to refute the Democrats...they have circular thinking and tend to rehash rather then give logical reasoning. When their arguments start that "well, in 1985 or well in 1997, so it is okay for Obama to do now"... remind them that these where SINGULAR experiences in a long time line, but Obama is doing ALL of them right now. LOL... that stops them in their tracks. Also, remind them that Socialism has never worked and ask them to give you one example of a successful Socialistic government. :) Good luck out there.
