As long as we allow people that have no grasp of the situation to vote in a promise, we are going to get politicians that cannot understand simple grade school math.
No, I am not saying we need to take away the right to vote, we need to try and educate those ignorant of the situation, sadly it is going to come to very abrupt halt and the "progressives" are going to apoligise as they enjoy their off shore accounts.

This just in! in my research comparing Ross Perot to the Donald, I found this quote from a former Congressman John LeBoutillier (during the Reagan/Bush years, also directly involved with recovering POW/MIA's from Vietnam including running 'Skyhook II') from the time of Perot's campaign. This should explain a little somethin, somethin about what Ross did to us, and why; "Perot’s true – and heretofore-unknown – reason for running in 1992 was to ruin George H.W. Bush’s chance of being re-elected as payback for Bush’s criminal behavior in covering-up the truth about the POWs left behind – alive – in Vietnam when the war ended. Bush was head of the CIA in 1976 – and has been dirty on the issue ever since. Perot was out to “get” him for this perfidy – and he did."

Reference please. I need to see this. Bush was a vet and almost captured in WWII, Should he turn his back on military personnel, I want to know.

Don as you can see in my post, I quoted the congressman who stated and posted his information. He was on the POW/MIA committee during Reagan's first administration, he was part of SkyHook and SkyHook II (President) which would have been when he worked together with Ross Perot and had direct dealings with G.H. Bush. During the 1970's President Bush was the head of the CIA, he also happened to be in Dallas TX. the morning of the JFK assassination, when the last of the 'hobo's' died in Florida he confessed to his son on tape of his involvement in the assassination as well as his meetings with his handler, George H. Bush. This information was hard for me to hear as well. I worked with President Reagan and then V.P. Bush at this time. A member of my family married into the Bush family in the 1990's, we were all together for the wedding and party. Let us put some information together which really urk's me. G.H. Bush was a naval pilot in WWII, then became a CIA Agent, at this time he is involved with Vice President Nixon trying to over throw the Cuba revolt, they fail, Nixon then loses the Presidential bid to Kennedy, Nixon still involved now from the outside works on the Bay of Pig's assault with the CIA. Kennedy, as well know, cancels the air cover leaving Cuba and U.S. Marines to die or be captured on the beach. Bush is now, according to a death bed confession, part of the plot to assassinate President Kennedy. It happens, The head of the Warren Commission, Gerald Ford, later explains how he had to write up a document of how one bullet could do all the damage done that day. I write up he later confessed he new to be incorrect. According to Nixon's documents he wanted to find out exactly what happened in Dallas that day. According the the death bed confession two of the 'hobos' where involved in the Watergate break in to be caught. Now V.P. Agnew step's down from office and Gerald Ford step's in to only months later have President Nixon step down for the betterment of the Country and Ford becomes President while G.Bush is head of the CIA. Bush later run's for President but, Reagan is winning more votes and G. Bush, Reagan's polar opposite, becomes Reagan's running mate.
There is SO MUCH MORE to this story, Like the Clinton's working on the law briefs to impeach Nixon. Sadly I am beginning to see light down the tunnel, I do not want to believe or for that matter ever see.

All that information will not be there, Some I found in the 1970's and 80's, some I learned in the 1990's and even more recently. I do not want to reveal any more, most people that have are not happy with the results.

Well I for one do not believe it.
Leboutillier praises "Perot is a Naval Academy graduate and thus was always a straight-laced square person. . ." Yet George H W Bush was also a Naval academy graduate, a pilot in WWII, and we are told is an absolute liar.
All this, is this guys opinion, conjecture and, in my opinion, untrue.

Don, you know ( I hope) that I am not trying to change anyone's opinion. What I am, and hopefully everyone here is, trying to do is add information to ensure we all have the best knowledge we can obtain to make the most informed decisions.

You would notice that Congressman Leboutillier and Mr Perot both worked and continue to work tirelessly on recovering POW/MIA's from all the battle fields were they are lost. So for the Congressman to praise a person that worked that hard to bring home his 'brother's in arms' would not be to far fetched. For that matter, a fellow patriot enlightening his friend on why he actually did something is not a far stretch either.

I have seen in my time in the Marine's as well as before and after, many things that I thought Politicians, military personal and just human being would not do. I have seen quite a few two faced politicians up close and personal, like Barney Frank, John Kerry and Joe Kennedy that made my head spin. I saw a fax (old school) that told me exactly what the Democrat's were doing to defeat President Reagan, which even though it cost us greatly it didn't work on the great one.

So in the famous words of the Greek soldiers... Don't kill the messenger...

I know there was a lot of information about the POW's during the Perot run and from what I remember there seemed to be some credible evidence that the American government did not do right in many instances concerning the POW's. I was barely into politics then but I heard and read enough to make my blood boil. While in human history it is not unusual for politics to win out over principle there are some things that gall me a lot more than others when that happens and disrespecting those that serve in the military is one. I also want to thank you Chesty for your service.

I am not killing the messenger, nor even disparaging your opinion or what you believe. I am having a conversation and telling you what I feel. (As conservatives we can do this without any of the "hate" we are accused of by Libs).
Some politicians are just that, if using the military slang term for a worthless piece of dog excrement. I wouldn't give a rats posterior what a majority of them say, let alone do unless it defiles the ranks of the men and women that wear the uniform of the Armed Forces of the United States of America, which is sadly far too many of them. . .and does include many that once wore the uniform.
Yet, I still read many of these profound revelations that are "coming to light" as chances to make one's star a bit brighter, point fingers or just plain lie. I am sorry Chesty, I am a skeptic of anything a "former" politician would say, especially if they did or said NOTHING while in office.
If they want my respect and belief, then get off the pot and start by standing up in the capitol building and calling those you are accusing, out in public and not while standing behind a blog or your "freedom of the press".

Don the kill the messenger comment was meant to be comical. See it is said that intelligent minds do not understand or can not be comical.

I agree with your comment on speaking out. It p's me off that Ron, John, Knute, and all the others are not pointing this out everyday they are or were in office.
Don never apologize for being a skeptic of politics, if we had to apologize every time we were skeptic of Politician's... we would never be able to finish a sentence.

Ron Paul will not win he has lost what twice before so why run again me thinks it is for the money . As far as the love fest for RP seems it was not long ago the love fest was for the cockroach how is that working for you?

I was from Mass, when Romney was there, please count me out of the Mitt fest. If I have to vote for Mitt over Opalmer I will, but I will not do it for any other reason then the LESSER OF TWO EVILS. Both are to the left. We need to support true conservatives in the primaries. This way we will not have another McCain situation.

In Paul’s primary campaign Paul has acted much like Romney’s campaign manager, focusing his questions like a serial wrecking ball upon the other candidates’ presidential aspiration. In doing so the steady respect he has gained for both himself and the gospel of Liberty is reflected in the polls. Now only Romney remains as a soft target for the force of Paul’s inspection.

Given the difficulty that BHO is facing in certifying his eligibility for election, Hillary is apt to face Paul, not BHO.

All those pseudo conservatives are becoming increasingly frantic as they expose themselves as holding the delusions of neo-cons, neo-libs and advocates of creeping Sharia law. From their behavior, it is apparent that they know the truth exists to prey upon their delusions. They should relax and get over their panic. Liberty under our Constitution’s republican rule-of-law is a good and wonderful thing – American Exceptionalism shines again. “In God We Trust” is a bankable proposition. Be happy – those fears are not so real - being born of fatigue and ignorance that is easily relieved.
