In all honesty I kind of baited him. I saw no value in his comment so I attacked his agenda and the source I speculated it came from. This predictably resulted in a personal attack on me. The funny thing is that even though I predicted his attack, he could not resist. I have used this tactic to neutralize liberals many times before, and it works 90% of the time.

But let's face it, the "inherited problems" excuse is wearing thin and just comes across as political whining. Bush never would have gotten away with whining about Clinton's dismantling of our intelligence network and blaming him for 9/11.... Furthermore he had way more class than that, and would have lost a lot of respect for trying it just as Obama is losing the respect of fair minded people. To tie it back to this thread, the media certainly isn't calling him out on the blame game.

Well, yeah. Misguided. Please dont tell me ive lost sight of god or anything. We never stop learning and growing, but i like to think i can do it with my own mind and my own morals.
My grandmother said, "The day I stop learning something new is the day I die." She was 84 years old when she stopped learning.
I would never presume to say that you've lost sight of God (and yes, "God" is a name and therefore should have a C A P I T A L I Z E D first letter, as all names should) or Allah, or Buddah, or whatever your beliefs are. That is not my place. I do find it amusing that you are inserting religion into this when I had not. That you managed to do so shows me how intolerent you are of people who hold traditional Judeo-Christian beliefs. Yet again, this is something that Liberals do quite a lot, citing religious intolerence when there is none.
