Bret, do you mean the world isn't flat or we are in a jobless recovery?
Actually, I'm saying that the science is settled....there is man made global warming. ;)

Yaawwwnnn! For the umpteenth time, you CHOOSE what you want to believe because your mindset (that grid through which you view the world around you) predisposes you to believe such malarkey. While it is sad that Shermer equates trutherism with creationism, it does not change the fact that trutherism is based upon a pack of lies, deception and innuendo. It has been Alex Jones "deal maker," his meal ticket. Why in the world would he start telling the truth now?
Mary, that exact view is held by folks like Richard Dawkins and the like tell me who does this sound like
To explain the unknown by the known is a logical procedure; to explain the known by the unknown is a form of theological lunacy.
David Brooks - The Necessity of Atheism
There's this thing called being so open-minded your brains drop out.
Richard Dawkins
Talk about predisposed, your right I am. I will not get in line with the mainstream on this one. If I am told to question even Paul and his writtings and test them by the spirit then I have no problem putting PM or Alex Jones or anything else for that matter to a test. And right now all I am getting from the mainstream fails the test and is to hard to swallow! I think you have never listened to or read any of Alex Jones, I have read the articles you and Jon posted commented on them and quoted them you have not quoted or commented on anything directly produced by Jones. That makes things a little one sided doesn't it. Maybe instead of having someone else do your thinking you should try your own research? Then you could comment on so specific info you disagree with about Jones. Rather than something someone else says about him.
Who is Richard Dawkins?

Yes, I've looked at Jones, and in fact even originally subscribed to the notion that we haven't been told the whole story on 9/11. Then Jones started going off the deep end and I got out whilst the gettin' was good. :) I didn't want any part of his "chicken little" theories. The whole thing is so ludicrous that if you just stepped back and took a breath or two you'd see it for yourself. But, hey, if you want to smother yourself with his lies, innuendo and deception, by all means knock yourself out.
I have a disability that renders me unable to remember large amounts of information any more, although I am able to read and analyze and make judgments. When I am away for more than a day, you can be sure that I'm dealing with a health issue. Of all the things I've lost over the past few years, I miss my brain the most. :) In order to rebutt your YouTube postings, internet articles and websites I would first have to remember where I found the rebutting information in the first place. I might be able to reconstruct my original research from the time when Mr. Jones and I parted company, but frankly I don't have the energy or health to do so. Jonathan has provided good research, which wasn't accepted by you, so why would my research be any different? It wouldn't! Nothing I do or say is going to make any difference to you. Likewise, nothing you do or say is going to make any difference to me.
My suggestion is that we focus on our areas of agreement, rather than our points of contention. I think our country will be better off if we do this, don't you?

I happen to think Phil is a really good guy, and very smart. But then, who wouldda thought we would ever disagree, eh Scott?
Suuure, because he agrees with you on 9/11 and us crazies. Here straight from the horses mouth his words.
"Rebecca, you asked about the FEMA camps? They are hoaxes, conspiracy theories, and fodder for 9/11 truthers to get their fix from like a heroine addict getting to shoot up to avoid the shakes. This kind of fear mongering crapola is food for those who are addicted to the adrenaline rush they get from it, kinda like bungy jumping or sky diving. The imagine the threat on their life, but in the back of their mind they know they should be safe when they come down again.
Check out my blog that I posted in response to a bunch of 9/11 truthers that were having a cow over this a couple of days ago. Believe me when I say we have much bigger fish to fry right now than to busy ourselves chasing after the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow stories out there."
seems like a super nice guy as long as your train of thought is fixed.
