So, are King David and Jesus not Jewish because of her presence in their family tree?
In spite of the powerful propaganda effort of the so-called "Jews", they have been unable to prove in recorded history that there is one record, prior to that period, of a race religion or nationality, referred to as "Jew". The religious sect in Judea, in the time of Jesus, to which self-styled "Jews" today refer to as "Jews", were known as "Pharisees". "Judaism" today and "Pharisaism" in the time of Jesus are the same.
"The Talmud is, then, the written form of that which in the time of Jesus, was called the Traditions of the Elders." — Rabbi Michael L. Rodkinson
"The Jewish religion as it is today traces its descent, without a break, through all the centuries, from the Pharisees." — Universal Jewish Encyclopedia
You guys are really pathetic, trying to smell oh so sweet while denying the obvious. Dale, with the support of Gail, is the one who questioned who the Jews really are, remember? Dale asked, 'Do we count the ones who don't have the blood line but are converted?' Remember all that nonsense, boys?
This is exactly what Jonathan was talking about when he brought up the anti-Jewish connection to begin with. Based upon Jonathan's post above, his research into "truther" (a misnomer if ever there was one) websites all devolved to a common denominator--Jew bashing, or advancing the theory that the Jews were responsible for 9-11. This has been my experience, as well. It appears to me that Jonathan attempted to test the waters here, and posted the information he found. It has been most interesting, and shocking, to see your responses.
Dale and Gail, read the Bible much? Other than a few verses here and there taken out of context? Ever read the whole damned thing? It appears to me that you haven't, so that's why I ask. I see your quotes from Jewish websites claiming that all modern day Israelites (to make Gail happy) trace their ancestry back to the Pharisees. This is not true. There is no Biblical basis for making that claim.
AHHH, but there's the rub...many modern Jews do not acknowledge the New Testament, and if they acknowledge Jesus they vehemently deny him as their Messiah. I did not say ALL Jews, but many. My point has been all along, which you have failed to comprehend, that just because you find it on the internet doesn't make it true. Just because someone sends you an email describing this or that situation doesn't make it true. Anyone can publish anything on the internet. They can make up credentials, titles, videos, doctored photos, etc.
Gentlemen, your ignorance is showing. Anyone with a twit of wisdom can see through all your bravado. Busted, boys.
Mary, the refrence I posted as well as others here have no "Jew" bashing in them ( http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3962883610962556504#
) What is being done to the topic is called discrediting or derailing. It happens alot when a topic reach's stale mate. Jonathan I will say is masterful at the method. Every time I have had a discusion that is in disagreance it usually ends in an attempt to discredit. Such as pointing out spelling errors or that Im not qualified on a subject and like now the view that I hold is being called anti-semietic. I will put my money down that Dale, Bret and Gail do not hate, dislike or fear Jews in anyway. If Im wrong my they speak for themselves but I doubt they will. I don't reading they said as coming off that way. Now back to the issue at hand perhaps?
Scott Hansen, your one video source does not outweigh the many others that DO bash Israel. The deeper I dug into the "lack-of-truth" position, the more troubled I became. When you research back to the ultimate website owners and their beliefs, 9 times out of 10 there is a LOT of Israel bashing. Surely you are not naive enough to read websites without checking out who owns them and their qualifications to render opinions, right? This is NOT a derail of the "truther" debate--merely additional information to be considered in the debate.
Gail, I did not question your faith, only your education level. Obviously, you have deeply held beliefs. I am not certain upon what foundation they are laid.

Wow! Thanks Scott! I think that's the first time in my life I've ever been called MASTERFUL at anything!! But I like the ring of it! (and by the way - "stale mate" is one word: "stalemate"). :)

Scott this is really funny and a little ironic. Because that's exactly what you guys did to me when I quoted POPULAR MECHANICS' refutation of the 9/11 "Liar" movement. Remember, Dale jumped all over me screaming that PM was YELLOW JOURNALISM!!! And I hate to attribute this next thing to Bret because I'm going by memory here (rather than looking back over the last 150 posts), I believe it was Bret who railed against PM saying they were left-wing partisans who are owned by Hearst Media. (Bret, if that wasn't you - my apologies in advance - but somebody here did say that and I think several others jumped in and agreed).
So wow! Talk about DISCREDITING!!! I even came back at one point and asked you guys to POINT OUT ONE SINGLE MISTAKE OR LIE IN THE PM ARTICLE -- AND NO ONE COULD DO IT!

Alright, so let's get to the bottom of this shall we? You guys believe that Bush ordered the nearly 3,000 murders of 9/11. But do you believe Bush acted alone?
Lol, np on the masterful bit. I can't speak for Dale, but I also posed the question what do they stand to gain from discrediting the "inside job theory". I stated that alot of their issues discuss military tec and tactic. That isn't a derail persay but a crediblity issue just as it is fair for you to call into question the credibility of the "truthers". Also I believe you posted a page doc. on all the wonderfully skilled Dr's and engineers that contributed to PM's article there by making a credibility claim. So when (I'll say the four of us) responded to your claims of anti-semetic members of the "truther movement" by denying our association to the idea and posting a couple prospectives/videos discribing my view point to illistrate the Isreal free version, the goal was to realign the discussion. It would be pretty crazy to think Bush could do it all him self. Even when superman tried to save the world by himself Louis Layne died. So realisticly I say review the clip I posted http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3962883610962556504#
I would say I agree with the people they claim to be involved. And that takes it back to Carter I'd say. Unless you blame Chennye because I think he may actually be the devil.

Nope...didn't "rail" against PM, or say it was anything inparticular, liberal, yellow or otherwise. Just said I had read the article when it came out and felt it didn't answer questions vis-a-vis my concerns. Thought I was pretty clear.
Waaaay back in the thread I was the one pleading to not have these silly shoot the messenger type arguments....both sides. This is why I'm laying low on this thread at this point. It's pointless to state something and then all of a sudden it's twisted into whatever...IMHO.

Bret... duly noted. Thank you! And by the way - you nailed Glenn Beck on his new age beliefs and that's super important and I really appreciate that.
