Put this in your pipe and smoke it!! I'm actually on the fence on this issue but I find it very interesting and am leaning to the argument that Hemp should not be illegal! Aspirin is more dangerous as you will see in the videos below. Hemp obviously has more benefits than negative attributes so why shouldn't we use the same common sense that the founding fathers had and exploit it? My guess is that when the Thomas Edisons and the J.P. Morgans of our time figure out how to monopolize and maximize profits and replace what they are making off of it as an illegal product then, and only then, will we see the gods offer to us this seemingly universally beneficial and natural product that we will all be thankful to them for.
CANNABIS HISTORY
Why is Marijuana Illegal?
Seriously though, I find it fascinating that this strange plant has so many uses. It is stronger than steel when the fibers are woven together so it makes excellent building material. The seeds are highly nutritious and make some of the best oil known to man. It is many times more durable than cotton and much safer to grow. The list goes on and on. Why shouldn't we utilize such a plant to it's fullest potentail? There is even a scripture in the bible that some say is referring to this miraculous plant:
Ezekiel 34:29 - And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more.
(Personally I think this is probably more likely reference to Jesus but I have not studied this out.)
Regardless, it just doesn't make sense to me to ignore the benefits of this plant and not utilize it. Seems like another "conspiracy theory"!!
Keep in mind that Cannabis Sativa (Hemp) and Cannabis Indica (Marijuana) are apparently not the same thing. Hemp has much lower THC levels and is kind of like bamboo in that it is tall, thin, and not as leafy. So legalizing it isn't a big deal to me. However, marijuana or THC have very definite medicinal uses but since it is a natural substance Big Pharma can't patent it so that explains why they lobby against it. (And we all know how deep those pockets are!!) I have no problem with them legalizing it at least for medicinal purposes so I guess that I'm not really on the fence about it after all.
The Hemp plant is not only one of the oldest cultivated plants, it is also one of the most versatile, valuable and controversial plants known to man. The industrial Hemp plant has a long history, which has proven its innate worth and its stalks and seeds can serve as raw material for an exciting array of many diverse products. The plant’s Latin name "Sativa" means "useful Hemp" and it definitely measures up to its name!

The same can be said for alchohol. Medicinal, cleaning, fuel, and my favorite....It's what makes beer buzzzzzz. I am inclined to agree. With all the resources spent to irradicate it we might as well legalize it, get the material and medicinal benefits, tax the "recreational" use to the hilt, and make a few bucks. Take away the criminality, and there go the criminals. Gang smuggling would no longer be necessary. It's never going to go away, and Lord knows tobaco smokers need a break. Here's your conspiracy. The drug smugglers are the ones lobbying in washington to keep it illegal. Make it legal and they are out of business.
SUDS VS BUDS!
Geraldo just said that it has been discovered in California that beer manufacturers are a major lobbyist against the legalization of Marijuanna because it is COMPETITION!!!

Legalize it or criminalize booze. Booze is MUCH more debilitating than pot. I can do anything stoned i can do straight. But I CANNOT do it drunk.
If I had a nickel for every time I heard a stoner make that silly statement I'd be rich.
