Americans who have participated in the slaughter of nearly 50,000,000 babies in the past 35 years have a lot to answer for.

What I do know, watching recent history very carefully, is that Lebanon, Western Europe, ETC., ETC., ETC., well, they're all facing what many of them see as quite a challenge. Those that are concerned(Christians, Atheists, Jews alike) are finding that a LARGE majority of those Muslims who are reproducing very rapidly are not acclimating in equally large numbers..Many of them have STRONG aspirations for seeing Sharia Law Implemented, and they think that their ratio of reproduction in comparison to the majority of the non-Muslims in the West is GOING to have a stronger and stronger political and cultural impact, every year(not necessarily a positive political or cultural impact)....as we've seen in Lebanon, Africa, the Philippines, Spain, so on and so on. (and they told two friends, and they told two friends......lol, sorry, couldn't resist).
Of course, as you so eloquently put, 'WHAT TO DO?'....because, well, I'll be darned if I join some "Purge out the Muslims" bandwagon.......while I do love bandwagons, indeed :b ...lol, jkjk. Actually, Red, my church is very outreaching to Mosques in the South Bay of California....the response is mixed. Actually, we have around 10% who are reaching out in return and joining with us to solve problems of poverty, homelessness, school falling apart, single mothers or fathers who are struggling, etc........In fact, most of these few mosques come to our church and meet with our leaders, even speaking on occasion to a group, suggesting that they reach out to ALL the members of their community...not just those who show interests in our Faith....Same goes for them, ....but it is, as I said, VERY FEW! Not only do the majority not answer our queries, many of them send VICIOUS responses to NEVER CONTACT THEM AGAIN! ....This bothers me, as an AMERICAN, Red, not just a Christian.
What to do? For me, Red, it's to share the message and light and love of Christ...not the constant defense of 'men' who claim to follow Him. But that message, in my personal journey, ONLY comes after I seek to meet the needs of someone....and ONLY if they're willing to listen. Most every believer that I know, who is actually out there in the World, serving their community, come from the same frame of mind. "LEAD BY EXAMPLE, HUMBLY", not "Hey, stupid, you're going to hell......and, ummm, yeah, that's right....GOD HATES FAGS.......oh yeah, almost forgot,....want a bag of food?"
Btw, 30 of those within the main mosque that we worked with? ....They've become members of our church. Every one of them have been slandered, abandoned and threatened by that one mosque. 2 others, where members have chosen to come from the mosque to our church?...they've responded as "Hey, God be with them...it's their choice to follow their own path....it wont hurt our relationship with your church."
We have to take it as it comes...but I think allowing Sharia Law, etc., in our CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC?......it should NEVER happen!
To rephrase the last line of that vid?
"THIS [dramatic pause] is a CALL [dramatic pause] to PANIC."
Sigh.
Just as the ONE "religion" of Christianity has and continues to deal with the Catholicism/Protestantism/Fanaticism battles, so does Islam, because of the different sorts of MUSLIMS following it -- Muslims merely being PEOPLE who worship different versions of the ONE "religion" of Islam.
And, hmmm ... HOW MANY OF THOSE "different kinds of" Muslims are there, JUST like how many "different kinds of" Christians?
At what point do we stop considering the base statistics of unqualified demos as GOSPEL? (grin ... I know, pardon the pun, etc. ... I couldn't resist.)
Come on. Stats can be and ARE skewed, DAILY, in order to meet the political agendas of whichever "government/political/religious" agencies are spouting them -- just as in this vid. They're all too often used as nothing more than scare tactics, or, oh, I'm sorry -- "calls to action", lol ...
Instead, why don't we all start thinking about the COMMON EQUATION IN EVERY RELIGION, IN EVERY NATION -- NO MATTER THE "STATS"?
HUMANITY.
That would be us.
WE are to decide when to start or stop another Crusade, another Inquisition, another Purge, another Holocaust, another 9/11 ... need I go further back in history, or point to more recent debacles of humanity using RELIGION as a TOOL for financial/political control, or, maybe -- are these FEW examples ENOUGH for this discussion?
Faith is one thing. Have at it. I have mine, too. But, just as I will NOT allow my own to be vilified whether or not I ever do something antithetical to its tenets -- in that case, vilify ME, not my FAITH -- I won't allow that to happen to anyone else on my watch, regardless of theirs.
And, excuse me, but because I'm human, all of humanity is "on my watch."
The bottom-line, for me, is that I will not raise my son to believe that he should run willy-nilly into ANY battle -- violent OR otherwise -- based upon the pleas, panic and/or pandering of any RELIGION -- but, most especially if it's used purely to denigrate, dominate and/or demonize another.
Obviously, there are those among us who have learned absolutely NOTHING from humanity's ugly history in these matters.
