Sorry it took so long had a woman broke down in my construction zone. You are right it does require faith. With out faith you would not truely believe in God. The Holy Bible is all the proof i need. To say it only matters to me is really pushing the issue. It says that even the demons of hell believe in God and tremble at the mention of His name.
look bro, seriously this discussion is completely useless as you will continue to push your belief and not factual evidence in this. I cannot and will not try to have an intelligent discussion with someone who only uses faith as his arguement. I'm not denying that others do not "BELIEVE" as you do, however they are YOUR beliefs. I know you are a good person but look past your own nose for a moment and try to look outside your little box. If i do not have the same belief as you do, and chose not to live by the same principles as you it makes no difference as long as i am not breaking a law. if the bible said thou shalt drive a chevy and you drove a chevy that all well and good but if i chose not to believe the bible and drive a ford i have caused you no material harm. therefore you have no business in my affairs. its pretty much that simple. i understand that most of our founding fathers were of christian influence however they did allow for others not of thier failth why did they do this? because they understood that to make people behave a certain way beyond a certain point was wrong. they understood the law of nature try reading it sometime you may find truths in there as well.
