  • May 3,1999 - Moore, Oklahoma Jake and I had just recently moved into Evergreen Apartments directly across the street from the Moore High School.  It was small, but comfortable for our immediate needs. We had been in business meetings all day and I was exhausted.  I had just laid down to ...

I remember one of my last attempts to reason with the progressive liberal friends I grew up with. Before I made a conscious decision to extricate myself from the sordid swamp of facebook babble, I was designated as an Islamaphobe/bigot for protesting a mosque at Ground Zero by Cathy V. who described...

"The New Colossus" Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, With conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand Glows world-w...

The supreme function of statesmanship is to provide against preventable evils. In seeking to do so, it encounters obstacles which are deeply rooted in human nature. One is that by the very order of things such evils are not demonstrable until they have occurred: at each stage in their onset...

Second to None: An Evolution on our Right to Bear Arms I signed the waiver. My name in ink meant no turning back. I walked into foreign territory with my goggles and protective ear gear and, amid the loud blasts and shells flying at my feet, I was ready to get my hands on a trigger. Firing a gun f...
  • Even as multiple scandals wind their way to the feet of Obama, he continues his assault on freedom loving-Americans. With Memorial Day approaching Americans should be preparing to honor our veterans and military heroes currently fighting for us as well as remembering those we have lost. This honor should be especially due from our own government that has sent these brave men and women off to war. Unfortunately, th...

We the People are At War

  • Put aside the fact that we are in...what....6 wars overseas now, but we the People, the civilians and veterans here are at war with our government.  We need to come to terms with this fact and realize what is at stake here.  It's not just a culture war that rages like a firestorm, but also the war for our rights.

The government wants to usurp more of those rights out of our hands and collective it into their own.  The more power they have, the better they can control us.

They give out a warning for surgically implanted bombs, the more reason they grab your junk when you board a plane or train or whatever.

The more they defile the right with allegations of rampant racism, cold-heartedness and extreme fringe acitivty, the better they can control the public opinion about the right.

The more they allow for religion to be pushed out of the public sphere can they then abolish religion all together and create a state where the government is the Almighty and not our respective Gods.

The more they do "for the children" can they then take the rights away from parents and place it squarely in the hands of government to control and to brainwash an entire generation.

The more politically correct we become, the more apt we are to be thrown into prison for "hate speech".

There are many, many more things to list, but the point is that we are most definitely at war with our government.  We need to not back down when the kitchen becomes too hot.  We need keep at it.  We the People have the power, not the government.  The government started this war, not us.
