  • This 1921 essay/obituary of Mary White, written by her father, was required reading when I was in school.  It wasn't only for the grammar and writing style, but for the topic as well.  It was a unique look at the life of a young girl so many years ago.  I'm glad I had the chance to re...

“Government is ‘too vast’ for Obama to know about wrong-doing.”- David Axelrod There was a time when getting one’s hand caught in the cookie jar was indeed a bad situation leading to a bad consequence for the offending hand(s)? Interestingly, it was a lesson ...

For the past five years we have suffered the broken heart of separation in this country. Friends from friends, neighbors from neighbors…our sons and daughters, husbands and wives…separated from each other by walls of growing distrust and disharmony that appeared out of nowhere. It is ...

Message 1: from General James Mattis, on the matter of professional reading, 20 November 2003 ….The problem with being too busy to read is that you learn by experience (or by your men’s experience), i.e. the hard way. By reading, you learn through others’ experiences, general...

  • I have come to the realization that being a FOOL in today’s world is not as easy as it once was. Being a FOOL in today’s world is something that one needs to really work at to be successful! Take Benghazi for instance. Not so many years ago, a certain President was forced from office fo...

If I hear "Martial Law"

  • First things first.

I will be adding some thoughts, hopefully on a frequent basis, on various items that have been bugging me i(e: thoughts, opinions, letters written, etc.)

In matters such as this time is not on my side, but no excuse.

    And now...

If I hear the words "martial law" one more time, I'll have to puke ...on somebody. (Don't try that yourself.)

If Mr. Dear Leader should be so bold as to try such a desparate and stupid move?  ...maybe just maybe our 'leaders' will rise up for us (or step aside and let We The People stop this nut-job from further wrecking this country.

What do I expect the 'leaders' to do?

First of all, since you cannot impose martial law just because you yourself create the situation that requires it. At that point Mr. Dear Leader and the gaffe-sidekick-show are removed and Mr. Boehner is President until January 20.

If Mr. Dear Leader has to impose martial law because things will have gotten so out of control then it is by his very own admission that Mr. Dear Leader is incapable of Leadership and exit papers will slap him on the back of the head and chase him out of the door.

    So there.

Still think it is a good idea? Go ahead. Make my day.

Jon McKeone the pathetic "leaders" we have don't even have enough balls to have compelled him to prove his citizenship and they're going to stand up for us? Good luck with that. Find a quiet place, stock up on freeze dried food and firearms and start practicing.

Jeannie Ash Jon, as you know, the government has been taking out their version of 'traitors' without warrants. I give you the film producer who was arrested and THEN they invented the charge of violating parole, which was clearly not true.

Jeannie Ash Martial law under Obama is not police or military. He always wanted a people's militia and why do YOU think that Rahm Emmanuel has not been very forceful at all with the murdering thugs in Chicago while continually letting down the now unarmed citizens?
